Quick Service Restaurants in Nevada and Texas Implement PAR EverServ QSR Software for Enhanced Operational Efficiency

When it comes to running eateries, many world famous restaurateurs rely on ParTech’s (PAR) advanced software solutions. ParTech Inc. has been serving the restaurant industry with its advanced point-of-sale and enterprise back-office solutions for three decades, and its clientele includes some of the world's largest restaurant chains and their franchises.

After serving fine dining restaurants around the globe, PAR has now targeted the quick service sector. The company recently announced that its newly developed PAR EverServ QSR point-of-sale (POS) software has been successfully implemented at two significantly different quick service restaurant locations. This, no doubt, is proof of the product’s flexibility and scalability.

In this launch, PAR partnered with S.L. Investments (CKE Franchisee), which has implemented EverServ QSR in its Carl's Jr. restaurant in Las Vegas, Nevada, and plans to roll out the solution to 37 of its Carl's Jr. locations by the end of 2010. SIP Coffee House, a European style coffee house in San Antonio, Texas, has also successfully deployed the EverServ QSR solution.

The maker of the solution said that EverServ QSR is based on four core principles: adaptability, modularity, scalability and usability. EverServ QSR has been designed as a flexible solution with an enterprise approach. As such, the solution is ideal for managing franchised and larger unit chains as well as independent operators. ParTech’s policy of maintaining a well-developed distribution network makes it possible for even the smallest restaurant operators to access the same advanced capabilities that large chain restaurants have.

Along with two other PAR EverServ modules, the EverServ QSR application makes a complete enterprise POS suite.

The PAR EverServ Operations Manager module's POS back office tools provide managers with the real-time operational information to make smarter decisions faster while better managing costs and meeting operational goals.

PAR EverServ Operations Reporting is a Web-based enterprise reporting service that consolidates data from multiple restaurants to provide up-to-the-minute visibility of financials, sales analysis, marketing, inventory and workforce status.

The system is also integrated with QSR Automations' ConnectSmart Kitchen software, which, according to its maker, helps maximize productivity, profitability and guest delight.

In addition of delivering the software solution, PAR has also been contracted by S.L. Investments to assist with the implementation and provide ongoing maintenance services for the Carl's Jr. restaurants.

Carl's Jr. in Las Vegas went live with the PAR EverServ QSR system on July 18, 2010. Starting from the planning process to go-live, the implementation took less than two months.

Both the management at Carl's Jr. restaurant chains and SIP Coffee House announced a significant improvement in their operation as a result of the implementation of PAR EverServ QSR system.

“The new PAR EverServ QSR POS system has significantly improved our speed of service. The conversational ordering feature allows us to process orders much more quickly, and the ease by which we can integrate external ordering capability gave us powerful access to new features like line busting. We are impressed with both the robust customer service features of EverServ QSR and the strength of its enterprise management capabilities,” said Bill Thorson, director of IT at S.L. Investments.

“The PAR POS system has dramatically improved the efficiency of our restaurant environment, resulting in an enhanced customer experience and improved control of our operation's profitability. As an owner operator, it is great to have the same caliber POS system that large organizations have at a price point that is reasonable for independent operators. We are very impressed with how quickly we implemented the system and how easy it was to train our staff,” added Lauren Stanley, Owner of SIP Coffee House.
