Ultimate’s UltiPro solution has been used by Culligan International to consolidate its HCM processes for its multinational workforce. Ultimate Software is a provider of human capital management also known as HCM SaaS (News - Alert) solutions. Culligan International is a water treatment specialist in the U.S. and Canada.
Culligan International has 2,100 employees in the U.S. and 850 employees in Canada. Separate payroll service bureau accounts for both countries were previously used by Culligan International. To address the range of customer service issues and functionality restrictions that it experienced with the service bureaus, the company turned to UltiPro’s SaaS solution in 2005. UltiPro’s time and attendance solution has also been recently activated by Culligan. With this activation, the company benefited from improved global reporting, streamlined HR operations and reduced administrative headcount. The company also benefitted from greater satisfaction through Ultimate’s award-winning customer service.
According to Ultimate, the UltiPro Software-as-a-Service solution is being used by Culligan International for HCM services. Full range of centralized HCM services will be provided to Culligan by the payroll and time and attendance modules of the UltiPro Software-as-a-Service solution.
In a release, Angie Galanis, payroll director, Culligan International said, “UltiPro gives me the control and tools I need to do my job well, including preparing a wide variety of reports on our workforce in the U.S. and Canada. We set up different business rules for each country, so compensation, personal information, and other details are stored in the correct formats for accurate reporting. It’s great to have such complete details on international information with UltiPro.”
With the use of different business rules for each jurisdiction, Culligan’s cross border payroll issues will be addressed by the solution. The solution also provides accurate reporting. Reports will have appropriate formats for total headcount, employee tenure, overtime, benefits, new hires, compensation and terminations.
In a release, Greg Swick, chief sales officer, Ultimate said, “In today’s competitive global business environment, companies like Culligan International recognize the need to increase business agility with improved strategic reporting and analysis. UltiPro’s industry-leading business intelligence tools and unified HCM functionality, complemented by Ultimate’s unparalleled service and support, are delivering immediate, tangible impact to these enterprises.”
