Arbita and Pinnacle Enter into Partnership

Arbita, a provider of recruitment marketing solutions, and Pinnacle Affirmative Action Services, an HR consulting player in providing affirmative action planning solutions, have entered into partnership to connect the parallel but often disconnected worlds of recruitment and affirmative action planning.

“Every part of the recruitment process carries potential hazards and liabilities for complying with affirmative action standards,” said Don Ramer, founder and CEO of Arbita, in a statement.

Ramer said that the combined mission is to help organizations avoid those potential liabilities through improved, better-targeted sourcing and hiring, making the most of the organization’s employment brand.

“We also help organizations do more with their recruitment marketing dollars to meet the demands of OFCCP (Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs) compliance and quality hiring,” he said.

“What’s happening now that I haven’t seen in my 13 years in the affirmative action business,” said David Scheffler, senior director of Affirmative Action Compliance Consulting for Pinnacle, “is that the OFCCP is now asking for detailed applicant data much earlier in the auditing process even before they’ve uncovered a potential problem during the desk audit. This is a significant shift.”

Officials with Arbita said that in addition to working together, the company and Pinnacle will be publishing a thought leadership article on recruitment, affirmative action guidelines, and how technology can play a significant role in both.

Company officials said that “Tearing Down the Wall Between Recruitment and Affirmative Action Planning”, will be available for download soon and will focus on the newest guidelines and how recruitment technology can help an organization keep up with them.
