MDSL (News - Alert) recently announced that it has upgraded TEM Vision, its Telecom Expense Management Solution, to deliver greater speed and functionality. MDSL specializes in delivering Telecom Expense Management (TEM) and Market Data Management (MDM) solutions for its customers.
In a release, Ben Mendoza (News - Alert), MDSL CEO and founder, said "The new version marks a significant improvement to TEM Vision's speed and functionality, designed to deliver a cost-effective, functional and easy-to-use window into the enterprise's telecom inventory, and to allow managers to report on every element with just a couple of mouse- clicks. We believe these enhancements will maintain TEM Vision's position at the forefront of telecom analysis and business intelligence tools today."
TEM Vision has been designed as a robust entry level TEM reporting solution which provides organizations visibility over their Fixed Line and Wireless telecom assets and expenses. It also provides organizations with a greater definition on their telecom spending. Featuring advanced map-based technology, TEM Vision delivers comprehensive management dashboard reports covering key metrics used by organizations in the running of their business.
With greater visibility over metrics such as total spending and cost trends among other things, organizations are better able to take timely and accurate decisions which help in optimizing their business operations. The solution does not require any programming or experience with database management which makes it an easy-to-use and highly effective solution.
Ben Mendoza said, "Squeezing financial costs out of the enterprise remains a constant requirement of every business. We have developed this latest version of TEM Vision specifically to assist businesses in achieving that objective and to make it as easy as possible to identify areas for potential additional savings."
The new version of TEM Vision includes improvements to its interface and functionality; the site information of a customer is automatically geo-coded on entry which enables businesses to quickly identify the physical location of the customer on TEM Vision's map-based interface. It also allows them to geographically analyze their spending in addition to standard categories such as business unit, country, and cost centre among others.
The newly upgraded TEM Vision makes it easy for managers to go through spend data quickly which allows them to deliver detailed reporting and analysis. Improvements to the invoice loading module which is used in the automatic scanning and entering of carrier billing data has effectively enhanced the speed and accuracy of the module. Additionally, upgrades have been introduced to the Fixed Line asset management tools while new key metrics allow easy analysis of roaming, international and domestic fixed and wireless spending and faster identification of high spending users and devices that have not been allocated yet.
