Nexonia Adds Multi-User Feature to Mobile Expense Reports Mobile Application

Nexonia unveiled a multi-user capability for its expense reports mobile application. Users can now benefit from having multiple accounts on their mobile phones.

The company specializes in Web and mobile expense reports and timesheets solutions. These customizable applications can be integrated with accounting and travel-management systems that will streamline the reporting and approval process, besides enhancing human resource management and operational efficiency.

Neil Wainwright, Nexonia’s CEO said, “We were thinking about the people who use our Expense Reports solution more than anyone else - the administrative assistants. They have to manage reports within multiple accounts, sometimes 10-15. To make their job easier we decided to build multi-user function for our mobile application, so wherever they are, the entire expense management process is fast and easy for them.”

In most organizations, administrators or administrative assistants are required to manage different user accounts for reporting expenses. Although Nexonia’s Web application supported this feature, in the case of mobiles, the single-user feature required a user to login and logout of each account to access another account.

The new solution will enable Nexonia expense reports administrators to manage various accounts using a single login. They may also seamlessly move between accounts and work on the expense reports as well. This facilitates the submission, approval and editing of reports for others via a mobile device.

The mobile user interface for Nexonia expense reports features an intuitive home page, buttons and also allows swiping between receipts and line items securely. This is expected to encourage users to make timely and more reports using their mobile devices such as iOS and Android (News - Alert) based devices and Blackberry 10.

Recently Nexonia announced support for expense tracking and reporting for healthcare organizations that are required to be compliant with the Physician Payments Sunshine Act.

As announced by the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), the “Sunshine Act” mandates that as of August 1st, 2013, many healthcare organizations such as group purchasing organizations and manufacturers will have to track and report expense spending related to physicians and teaching hospitals.
