ICS Financial Systems (ICSFS), a provider of banking software and solutions, is offering universal banking solutions for the Turkish financial market.

The company recently showcased its complete suite of banking software at the Banking Technology Turkey Summit in Istanbul. The participation at the event was part of the company’s strategy to strengthen its presence in the growing Turkish market, Wael Malkawi, executive director for Business Development of ICSFS, said.

ICS BANKS software, the flagship product from ICSFS, has been used by several banks in Turkey as well as other countries. It offers a complete suite of banking business modules with a rich sweep of functionalities and features, with the ability to quickly roll out innovative products in diverse markets, considering local and country specific requirements, Malkawi said.

A flexible, multilanguage and currency solution, ICS BANKS provides an integrated solution maintained on one database, affording customers a 360-degree user-friendly experience. The software focuses on infrastructure issues such as communication with an ability to be centrally implemented and distributed as a hybrid or a selected application.

The software products are designed for different types of banking applications such as universal banking, retail banking, wholesale banking, corporate banking, commercial banking, investment banking, Islamic banking (participation), finance leasing and microfinance. 

ICS BANKS is mainly used in automating accounting processes and improving a bank’s business performance. The system uses embedded service-oriented architecture (SOA), and is deployed in a multitiered setup that runs on a Web thin client, J2EE environment.

Clients using this software have reported increased performance and faster banking services. The service helps financial institutions maximize business opportunities and increase their competitive advantage, according to some of the users of ICS BANKS.

Earlier last year, Doha Bank upgraded its software to ICS BANKS version to work on the latest Oracle (News - Alert) Database 11g. The bank went through a major upgrade after installing the latest version of ICS BANKS that includes many new features. ICSFS has been very flexible, so the bank is able to deliver superior value services to customers.
