Choice Hotels, a hotel chain franchise that grabbed the headline few months back revealing its intention of opening 88 new hotels in Q1 2013, have major capital needs this year and beyond. An online platform from Direct Capital is going to make it easier and faster for the Choice Hotels, one of the largest hotel franchises in the world, to obtain the financing it requires to accomplish this goal.
Sometimes franchise owners need huge amount of capital to quickly address urgent maintenance and improvement needs. This helps preserve the quality of assets and the integrity of the brand. In a statement, Direct Capital revealed that in partnership with Choice Hotels it is introducing this new technology that would make it easier for the qualified Choice Hotels franchises to obtain large amount of financing in real-time.
The online platform will enable Direct Capital to make real-time approvals of up to $200,000. This is expected to give real boost to the franchises in the need of capital for growing their businesses. The initiative reflects Direct Capital’s strong focus on the franchise space.
Direct Capital provides business cash advances, working capital and other financial solutions to the fast growing companies in various sectors. The company remained a qualified Choice Hotels vendor for several years. In a statement last year, Direct Capital said that it will continue to provide capital to hotel franchises, especially Choice Hotels, despite a difficult lending market.
Its new platform is intended to help Choice Hotels successfully implement its major projects that may range from property improvement plans to enforcement of brand standards.
“We know that Choice Hotels franchisees have major capital needs in 2013 and beyond. We’re attacking that problem with a combination of a strong commitment of dollars and constantly improving finance solutions. We’re excited to unveil this game-changing technology for franchisees this week,” said Matthew Goyette, VP of business development at Direct Capital, in a statement.
