Epicor Invited to Showcase Its ERP Solution to Finland University Students

Epicor, a provider of business software solutions, has a new way of approaching how enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and business software solutions are designed, developed, and deployed. Recently the Metropolia University of Applied Sciences in Vantaa, Finland, invited Epicor to showcase its next-generation ERP solution to the university students who are also future business software users.

Epicor’s next-generation ERP software represents a game changing opportunity for business. Termed as a single end-to-end software solution for business, Epicor ERP is designed for the way people work today, and is built for business. The solution offers substantial capabilities focused on cost reduction, process improvement and customer responsiveness – stated as top priorities toward achieving business recover and growth.

Erkki Sairanen, business professor for the Metropolia University of Applied Sciences said, “We are pleased to have Epicor here to introduce the ERP solutions to our students. As an institute, we want to give our students up-to-date factual information as well as links to the business world.”

The company asserted that Epicor ERP is the result of long term product development that includes, for example, one of the most advanced ERP search functions on the market. The solution is tweaked to easily work with devices such as smartphones or tablets.

Matti Pulla, regional director for Epicor Finland and the Baltics remarked, “There is a shortage of ERP experts in the market. Having high quality schools such as Metropolia in Finland that educate students in practical and realistic business scenarios are vital for helping the local industry grow. The visionaries of tomorrow are made in these institutions and they inspire the next generation of business system users. We want to continue introducing Epicor and our solutions to students to demonstrate to young people that technology can help businesses innovate, and that ERP is anything but boring.”
