Avalara, a provider of sales tax and compliance automation services in the cloud, recently appointed David E. Rostov as CFO. The officials from Avalara said that Rostov’s experience and extensive skills will be very useful in all aspects of the business.

A veteran in the technology industry, Rostov was previously working with Lighthouse eDiscovery. He has also worked as CFO at Infospace and acting COO and CFO of Apex (News - Alert) Learning, an online high school education company.  His appointment extends the company’s leadership position in the compliance industry.
