ACCEO Solutions, a major player in IT consulting services and financial and business solutions for SMBs, has acquired Les Systèmes Informatiques O.G.C. (OGC).
OGC is a Canadian information technology provider for the hardware and building materials industry. It offers management solutions for purchases, inventory, finance, sales, customer service and human resources.
This acquisition will serve to enhance ACCEO Solutions' expertise and reinforce its team. OGC currently has 30 employees.
Thanks to the acquisition, the complete OGC-Plus integrated management software suite, which boasts over 5500 users in Canada, is being added to the ACCEO Solutions product lineup.
"We are extremely proud to be adding OGC's solutions to our range of hardware stores and building material center products," said Gilles Létourneau, president and CEO of ACCEO Solutions, in a statement.
"Not only does this transaction allow us to expand our product portfolio, but it also solidifies our position as a major player in the industry, allowing our company to grow even more," said Létourneau.
"We are thrilled to pass our solutions onto a company which will definitely be able to continue offering the know-how, quality, and service which has always gone hand in hand with our products; a company which will ensure the development of our products in accordance with customers' growing needs," said Olivier Du Paul, president of OGC.
Earlier in January, ACCEO announced that it joined EPASOrg, , an international, not-for-profit association that brings together major players in the card payment industry, as an associate member
Based in Brussels, EPASOrg aims to develop common and standard card payment protocols in order to create one payment system for all of Europe. EPAS protocols, which seeks interoperability between electronic card payment systems, are defined in collaboration with ISO to help ease deployment in Europe and, eventually, in North America too.
