QlikView Business Discovery Platform Chosen by Appello

Appello has chosen QlikTech’s QlikView Business Discovery platform. The platform will assist Appello to enhance its sales, product administration and marketing standing of Wisepilot and NeverLate.

A real-time comprehensive navigation experience is provided by Appello’s Wisepilot using its turn-by-turn voice instructions and user-friendly services. Customers are informed regarding when to leave home, work or any other place so that they reach their destination at the correct time by the NeverLate offering, accessible all day and night. Appello is able to analyze sales and user behavior of a minimum of 30 million users in more than 100 countries with QlikView’s speedy, self-service access to data. Each day, QlikView manages a minimum of one billion entries.

Prior to choosing QlikView, Appello’s developers created their own statistical offerings. Developers at Appello can now concentrate on strategic analysis using QlikView. They can also develop apps for the presentation of the required information in a simplified manner. Appello has decreased the time taken for preparing reports manually.

In a statement, said Marina Davarinou, Head of Marketing at Appello said, “QlikView is very quick to follow up ratios every day. We compare the sales index to budget and which markets are generating the most sales. At the same time, we can obtain information on how well we manage to stimulate the use of our products. The LBS group of offerings from Sweden-based Appello is currently available in a minimum of 100 countries and is used by 30 million users across the globe. Customers of Appello include operators, handset manufacturers and end consumers. Samsung, TeliaSonera, Telenor, Airtel, Tim, Sony Mobile and T-Mobile (News - Alert) are some of the major customers of Appello.
