Cardtek USA Introduces NFC Mobile Expertise for North American Customers



Cardtek Group, the umbrella brand for a slew of companies specializing in different areas of payment technologies, has been offering various payment processing services for banking and finance sector, as well as mobile operators, IT, telecommunications, public sector and insurance companies. Each of the companies under Cardtek Group-- SmartSoft, CredoWork, CordisNetwork and Phaymobile--- specialize in different areas of payment technologies.

SmartSoft offers software solutions for banks and partners in payment systems. CredoWork and CordisNetwork followed, providing hardware and on-premises services to the financial market. Phaymobile is specialized in mobile payment systems and NFC technologies. Through a slew of branch offices, Cardtek USA brand offers EMV integration and transition in the USA as well as selling all other product packages of Cardtek Group overseas.

Anticipating a strong demand for its Palmaris Instant EMV Card Issuance product from its banking and credit union customers in 2013, Cardtek USA has reportedly expanded its technology support for its North American customers.

The company has built up a dedicated Chicago team headed by NFC mobile technology expert Serdar Akyel and comprising of personnel with more than 10 years of experience in EMV projects in Europe and Canada.

With Akyel joining the Cardtek USA’s Chicago office, the company is now able to offer enhanced technological support to existing and future customers using many of the company's EMV products. Akyel has developed strong NFC mobile expertise, as a result of his involvement in major projects in Europe.

Current customers doing EMV card migration, Instant EMV Card Issuance, EMV kernels for hardware devices and needing EMV training, are being supported from the company’s office near to O'Hare airport.

Now with Akyel taking charge of the Chicago office, these customers will have access to NFC Mobile expertise.

“Being centrally located in the U.S. and near a major airport gives us excellent access to our existing and new customers. Our 10 years plus of EMV experience in Europe and Canada has allowed us to develop very robust, high quality and cost effective solutions for the many financial institutions needing EMV products in the U.S. EMV rollout,” NA sales manager Gregg Smith, explained in a statement.
