Fiserv Appoints Chris Flink to Board of Directors



Fiserv, Inc., a provider of financial services technology solutions, recently revealed that Chris Flink, is the newest addition to its board of directors. A veteran in the industry, Flink is the partner at the innovation and design firm IDEO as well as a consulting associate professor at Stanford University.

He is also working as a lecturer at the Graduate School of Business, and is a consulting associate professor at the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design. Flink has even led diverse programs in collaboration with some of the world’s most recognizable brands.

 “Financial services are increasingly reliant on technology to deliver value and create relationships with customers,” said Donald F. Dillon, chairman of the Board of Directors, Fiserv, in a statement. “With his experience as an advisor to dynamic global brands, as well as an educator at one of the world’s premier centers of innovation, Chris brings unique talents to our Board and we look forward to his contributions at Fiserv.”

Fiserv provides information management and electronic commerce systems for the financial services industry, providing integrated technology that create value and results for its clients. The company is touted as driving innovations that transform experiences for more than 16,000 clients worldwide including banks, credit unions and thrifts, billers, mortgage lenders, leasing companies, brokerage and investment firms and other business clients.

In related company news, Fiserv has reported that Dickinson Financial Corporation, a $2.1 billion bank holding company based in Kansas City, Mo., has launched a mobile banking platform using Mobilit from the company. Dickinson is utilizing multi-tenancy deployment, supporting six distinct retail banking brands with a single underlying mobile platform. This approach is enabling the company to deliver robust capabilities while realizing operational and product management efficiencies. The retail bank brands currently under the Dickinson Financial Corporation umbrella are Armed Forces Bank, Academy Bank, Sun Bank and Southern Commerce Bank.
