Comviva, a provider of mobile financial and VAS solutions, has picked Actian Corporation’s Vectorwise analytic database to power its Revenue Plus customer value and retention solution.
Revenue Plus helps telecom service providers gain insights into customer value and retention by studying and analyzing huge volumes of call detail records (CDR).
Featuring data analytics and mobile value added services, Revenue Plus has been designed to serve as an analytic-driven solution that enables customer value management and churn reduction. Revenue Plus will enable greater customer retention for telecom companies.

Operators can understand the needs of customers and the pricing pattern to optimize network usage. This helps operators make decisions rapidly to reduce churn, pointed out Jayadevan.
Comviva further plans on launching differentiated VAS solutions that uses big data analytical technologies to deliver results faster. The Vectorwise analytical database enables data-centric companies to tackle big data more effectively.
