Catholic Relief Services (CRS) Deploys Singularity's BPM Solution

Singularity, a Business Process Management (BPM) and Case Management software vendor, announced that Catholic Relief Services (CRS), the official international humanitarian agency of the Catholic community in the United States, has deployed its BPM solution for disaster relief.

Singularity explained that its TotalAgility provides a business process management (BPM) platform that enables greater organizational agility. The company believes BPM is all about business performance improvement and agility – achieving significant organizational gains through better management of processes. The platform supposedly provides capabilities for process design and simulation, workflow control for managing human tasks, integration tools for linking system activities to processes, and business rules.

The BPM solution will help CRS to leverage technology to transform its administration and so improve its capacity to deliver disaster relief. The organization acknowledged that TotalAgility suits its need for an enhanced reporting system, which explains to major funders how their money is spent and what impacts it has had.

Officials with CRS noted that with Singularity's TotalAgility BPM solution they are convinced that they will be able to achieve substantial efficiencies, increase their capacity to raise funds and make service improvements. That will mean more people in desperate need will receive their support, more lives can be saved and more people will be assisted to have better and longer lives.

Some of the notable benefits users can get to enjoy by employing the Singularity BPM solution are: lower business costs and increased efficiency; increased agility and adaptability; improved collaboration; ease of use; increased transparency; and more.

CRS added that it will use Singularity's BPM Suite to create its Project Information Management Solution (PIMS) to improve its co-ordination of people and resources at all stages of relief efforts such as: identifying needs and interventions; outlining projects and objectives; seeking funds and other resources to make effective interventions; drawing-up contracts; managing projects; and reporting on project outcomes to funders.
