FinancialForce.com Wins Best Cloud Offering Award for Its Accounting Application

FinancialForce.com, a cloud applications company, claimed that at the EuroCloud UK Awards its FinancialForce Accounting application delivered on Force.com was voted the best cloud offering.

The EuroCloud UK Awards are supposed to provide a unique opportunity to highlight best practices, innovation and customer success achieved by providers of cloud services and products in the United Kingdom. While voting the best cloud offering, the judges at the competition looked into factors such as innovation, business impact and value of the capabilities offered, while also considering leadership in best practices across technology, operations and go-to-market.

FinancialForce Accounting is a comprehensive financial application delivered on-demand from Force.com cloud computing platform pioneered by salesforce.com. It is dubbed as the ideal complement to Salesforce CRM. The end-to-end solution is the perfect business software platform for sales and service oriented companies seeking to not just grow, but to do so efficiently and profitably.

Officials with EuroCloud asserted that there is much innovation happening in the cloud industry, and Europe and the UK in particular, are building momentum. The recent EuroCloud Congress in Luxembourg showcased some of the finest examples of cloud computing, and the growing maturity of cloud computing and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS (News - Alert)) is empowering European businesses to seize the opportunities that this technology can deliver. It's also great to see a European organization like FinancialForce.com doing so well in the US market.

Some of highlights of the FinancialForce Accounting app are: 100% real-time system flexible chart of accounts and multi-dimensional analysis; multi-company, multicurrency, global tax, multicultural support; only native Salesforce accounting application; and more.

Also the app is delivered from Force.com, the same platform as Salesforce CRM, which allows users to share a common language, common processes and a common data set. The app has built-in feature to access Chatter, a social networking tool available on Force.com. Users can collaborate around real time issues utilizing this feature.
