NetSuite's Ecommerce Solution Boosts Web Sales and Traffic at Igloo

NetSuite (News - Alert), a provider of cloud-based financials / ERP software suites, has enabled Igloo Products to re-launch its consumer products portal, on the NetSuite Ecommerce solution.

Igloo Products leveraged NetSuite to build a new Ecommerce solution that has significantly increased traffic and sales. NetSuite offered a platform with an end-to-end business management system, mobile and social commerce capabilities, and intelligent merchandizing tools.

By leveraging NetSuite, Igloo Products could improve social media integration, content management, product database and catalog functions, product recommendations, dealer referrals, and direct marketing.

The business model of Igloo Products is heavily weighted toward wholesale distribution to retail partners. Due to frequent changes to the product line, static catalog pages quickly fell out-of-date. It was a challenge to the company's accurate online presence.

“Igloo needed a way to handle its rapidly changing Internet environment without the expense of an internal IT staff.  Thanks to the powerful Web tools delivered by NetSuite, we have the best of both worlds,” said Sue Miller Payton, director of marketing for Igloo Products, in a statement.

With NetSuite, the new site can be managed exclusively by merchandisers and designers. They can rely less on IT staff or costly outside developers. Igloo's product experts, a total of 25 internal users, can easily create and expand product details. NetSuite's graphical search and filtered navigation enhance consumers' experiences and results when searching for products.

Recently, NetSuite announced a partnership with RSM McGladrey, a provider of tax and consulting services, to offer enterprise-grade cloud computing solutions and services. As a NetSuite reseller and solution provider, RSM McGladrey with its technology services practice, will offer the full spectrum of NetSuite cloud business software solutions, including ERP, Ecommerce and Professional Services Automation.
