Validas to operate Best Buy Bill Checker

Validas, the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) leader in on-demand wireless savings, recently announced that it has signed an agreement with Best Buy (News - Alert) Co., the multi-channel global retailer and developer of technology products and services, to operate Best Buy Bill Checker solution, which analyzes wireless bills for AT&T, Verizon (News - Alert) Wireless, Sprint and T-Mobile cellular customers.

“We're excited to be moving forward with the Best Buy partnership," said Validas CEO Tom Pepe in a statement. "Our patented technology simplifies buying a cell phone by using the facts from the bill to determine the best plan and features. Instantly arming the Blue Shirt with knowledge about the client walking in the store gives Best Buy a competitive advantage, ultimately improving the overall customer experience.”

Priced at $4.99 for a single use, Best Buy Bill Checker is instrumental in identifying and addressing any areas ripe for savings. To know how much he can save on his cell bills, customers can upload a PDF copy or directly import an online copy of their cell bill to the Best Buy Bill Checker. The software then calculates the amount of possible savings available and displays that number in a free report. Customers can also use the solution on their smartphones. All they need to do is text "Billchecker" to 71700 to receive a link to the service, directly accessible from their device.

Best Buy Co. is a leading retailer of consumer electronics in the United States, accounting for 19% of the market. It also operates in Mexico, Canada, China, Turkey and the United Kingdom. Recently, Best Buy and Geek Squad offered special discounts for military customers on In-Home Technology Consultation and Remote Desktop Support services on Memorial Day weekend. The offer came shortly after Best Buy's Geek Squad announced in April its participation in First Lady Michelle Obama and Dr. Jill Biden's national "Joining Forces" initiative, supporting military families who sacrifice so much for our country.
