Wall Street & Technology Announced iPad App



Wall Street & Technology, the capital markets source for technology news, trends and analysis, launched its Wall Street & Technology App, available on iTunes, Apple's (News - Alert) App Store.  

The Wall Street & Technology   iPad app provides the relevant and timely financial technology information which is an easy-to-navigate application. Users can access news and commentary from WS&T's staff of editors, including Ivy Schmerken, Larry Tabb, Greg MacSweeney, Melanie Rodier and Dr.Howard Rubin. The portal will efficiently deliver IT-related information to financial industry technology executives, and the app features content across categories including trading, data infrastructure, compliance/risk, exchanges, CIO and InformationWeek.

 The initial launch from InformationWeek Business Technology Network was the InformationWeek iPad App which has just reached a milestone of 10,000 downloads from business technology executives.  There are additional financial services brands planned to be launched next month.

The core benefits of this app are: speed for  instant access to WS&T content with the ability to navigate around quickly and easily; Portability where users can access WS&T content anywhere; Optimized Format- WS&T content is specifically optimized for viewing on a tablet; Interactivity -- the ability to connect content to others via Facebook (News - Alert), Twitter and email.
