Free Android App Launches For ATM Operators and Technicians

Money vending machines dealer ATMequipment.com has unveiled a free mobile app called ATMtech, designed to support technicians and ATM operators better manage their machines.

The app, the company said, can be downloaded on any android-based mobile phone.

ATMtech is designed with helpful tools and information that enable technicians to search and review ATM error codes, and carry out the repair work at the earliest availability.

Using this app, the update of money vending machines has become easier.

The app also provides field techs with manuals, programming information, video tutorials, and other helpful tools and information.

Kaysville, Utah-based ATMequipment.com said it is also developing a similar application for Apple’s iPhone (News - Alert) and that will be released in a later date.

ATMequipment.com is a website and also a call center providing ATM operators with customer service and one-stop shopping for everything needed to operate an ATM business.

“Field technicians need information and support immediately,” said Alicia Ridley, president of ATMequipment.com. “ATMequipment.com created ATMtech to make it easier to get the support they need when and where they need it—all at their finger tips.”

The app acts like a ‘ready reckoner’ allowing operators and technicians to access information and use a variety of different tools in support of their work while in the field. The app’s features include the ability to search and view ATM error code definitions, a review of ATM owner manuals, short “how to” video tutorials, access to manufacturer and supplier tech support contact information, and access to ATM programming information.

ATMtech is available for anyone working with retail ATM machines and ATM processors. Specifically, the app provides information and support for Hantle, Nautilus Hyosung, Triton, Genmega, NCR and WRG branded ATM machines.
