HCL Infosystems and Oracle Form Business Intelligence Partnership



HCL Infosystems Limited, one of India’s premier hardware, services and ICT system integration company, has entered into a partnership with Oracle (News - Alert) to showcase their business intelligence (BI) offerings.

Officials with HCL Infosystems said that the partnership reinforces the company’s strength and expertise in the BI domain.Company officials said that HCL’s Centre of Excellence Business Intelligence Unit (BIU) focuses on both industry specific and technology specific solutions that include customers, competitors, business partners, economic environment and internal operations.

According to company officials, the HCL Infosystems range of BI solutions leverages Oracle technology to get extreme data warehousing performance, advanced analytics out-of-the-box solutions that give better and deeper industry-specific insights enabling business to make the right decisions based on data trends.“We are elated to be associated with Oracle. HCL Infosystems has been committed to deliver Business Intelligence and Data-warehouse technology-centric business solutions to the clients driven by thought leadership and outstanding software development services,” said Rajeev Asija, executive vice president of system integration and international business of HCL Infosystems Ltd., in a statement.

Asija said that this partnership is a step to further to fortify HCL Infosystems’ expertise in providing cutting-edge solutions in the BI space.Oracle, with its world’s fastest machine for data warehousing applications-Exadata, will enhance HCL Infosystems expertise into the BI-DW space and will offer HCL’s existing and potential clientele with a unique DW/BI experience.In October, HCL Infosystems introduced an initiative to provide HCL Desktops and Laptops at special discounted prices exclusively for the paramilitary forces of India. Officials with HCL Infosystems said that this is a project undertaken by the company to salute the hardship and solidarity of the para military soldiers.
