Timesheet Mobile Cloud Computing Support Used for Time and Location Tracker

Freedom Telecare today announced its new service called Timesheet Mobile cloud computing support for wireless phones in the U.S. The service can convert any U.S.-based mobile into an employee work time and location tracker. The service provides the above employee details to even ordinary cell phones.

The employers don’t have to get smartphones such as Blackberry or iPhone (News - Alert) for their employees since the service works on the employees’ existing phones. Freedom Telecare’s President, Bob Drainville, said that the cloud-based service can work on any ordinary phone within the same day without any additional hardware or software components involved.

Today, employees in various industries such as construction, IT, health, transportation and security are already using the Timesheet Mobile service for work time and location tracking on their job sites. The company also provides online software through which the employers can:

  • View the work time and location of their employees from any location in real time
  • Based on that information reports can be generated for invoicing and payroll
  • Import the information into payroll services such as Quickbooks
  • Get mail and text alerts for additional employee related information such as leave and overtime
  • Compare timesheet reports from previous and current period

Drainville claimed that the company’s customers save a lot of hours each week as they now don’t have to spend time in compiling information from hand written time cards. Even the mobile workforce makes substantial savings by using Timesheet Mobile. This is because just a few minutes late showing of employees can cost the company a lot of money.

You can view all the details from any location and any Web browser since the service is Web based. You don’t have to install any software for the application to work. Freedom Telecare has become the largest mobile location enabler in the U.S.
