Granite Telecommunications (News - Alert), a provider of communications products to multi-location businesses throughout the United States and Canada, is taking part in the Efficiency First Solution Certification Program, according to information services company AOTMP.
The Efficiency First Solution Certification Program consists three different stages — diagnostic, scoring and certification — and will help Granite to identify and close gaps in its capabilities, while also enhancing the efficiency of its solution. Furthermore, program participation is a way to demonstrate Granite’s commitment to excellence and its desire to provide a first-class solution.
Granite’s core services are local and long distance telephone services, which Granite centralizes and offers a single point of billing and contact for its customers over incumbent carrier networks.
In the initial part of the Efficiency First Solution Certification Program, Granite Telecommunications will align its solution capabilities with the Efficiency First Framework v2.0 – a standard that strives for technical, financial and operational efficiency in enterprise fixed and mobile telecommunications environments.
"AOTMP is thrilled to partner with Granite throughout the Efficiency First Solution Certification Program," said CEO Tim Lybrook. "With one company, one bill and one point of contact, Granite's offerings provide customers with operational savings and ease the burden of management by decreasing accounting and administrative costs. Participation in this Program will enable Granite to further demonstrate to clients and the marketplace its commitment to delivering business efficiencies and business value."
After the thorough analysis, Granite’s solutions will also be counted for certification based on performance and client experience. On meeting or surpassing the required top tier performance requirements, AOTMP will award the certificate to Granite, for excelling in the Efficiency First Solution Certification Program.
Back in January, AOTMP released the finalists for its Industry Excellence Awards
. An AOTMP panel of judges determined finalists in three different categories: Global TEM/WMM Excellence, Fixed and Mobile Business Excellence, and Wireless Mobility Excellence. An award will be given for each category to a company that has "demonstrated outstanding performance" in those fields.
