Four-Day Event Aims To Share Vision For A New Era Of Corporate Travel And Expense Management



In view of astronomical corporate travel expenses, more and more companies are investing in Travel and Expense Management solutions to speed up and increase the accuracy of travel bill reimbursement process. Each year Concur, a company specializing in customizable T&E solutions, organizes a gala event that draws who’s who of E&T industry. Entitled, “Fusion” this annual conference has come to be known as one of the industry’s premier events allowing the attendees learn about the latest industry developments. 

This year, Fusion is taking place from April 16-19, 2013 in Las Vegas, connecting a huge eco-system that will be comprised of Concur clients, partners and staff. The attendees will have the opportunity of witnessing the launch of exciting new innovations from Concur.

Over the course of the four-day event, Concur will unveil exciting new innovations to inspire the future of business travel and enable each member of the corporate travel ecosystem to participate and reach that future on their own timetable.

The event has a three-pronged goal: educate, inspire and innovate. In an effort to accomplish this goal, Concur will be hosing a series of educational sessions for its clients and partners. By participating in the interactive product training and demonstration sessions, the businesses can develop an idea about how to implement these solutions to keep their corporate travel costs at the minimum.

Special opening day keynote will be delivered by Steve Singh, chairman and CEO of Concur and Rajeev Singh, president and COO of Concur. The keynote will focus on the business travel revolution impacting the entire industry. As part of the keynote, Concur will also unveil a major new initiative that builds upon its platform.

EVP of product management and strategy at Concur, Michael Hilton, Concur chief technology officer, John Love and EVP of traveler services Barry Padgett are going to deliver innovation keynote, focusing on the latest innovations coming from Concur, on Thursday, April 18. The keynotes on Wednesday, April 17 and Thursday, April 18 will be webcast and streamed through the Concur Facebook (News - Alert) page.

Creating a new opportunity for its partners, Concur, for the first time has is holding a Partner Expo to showcase what Concur partners have to offer. 65 T&E companies are participating in the Expo.

Do not get disheartened of you can not make to the event this year. Even if you can not participate in the event in person, you can experience it from anywhere by visiting the Concur Facebook page which will stream general session keynotes and interviews with key executives.

In other news, Concur announced that a growing number of federal agencies have signed up for the company's E-Gov Travel Service 2 (ETS2) solution to help them realize the cost savings, compliance benefits, and reporting capabilities that result from using an integrated travel and voucher management service to better manage the total cost of a trip.
