Recently, TRX revealed a new iPhone and Android (News - Alert) mobile application for users of the company's expense solution, TRUEXPENSE.
TRUEXPENSE users, according to a company statement, can now easily capture expense receipt photos through the new mobile application, and the receipt image will automatically upload into the expense reporting tool, taking the step of manually e-mailing the receipt out of the process.
Receipt images can then be matched to an existing expense record in TRUEXPENSE, or the user can create a new expense report.
"Business travelers are busy. Keeping track of receipts and submitting expense reports should be quick and simple," Shane Hammond, president and chief executive officer at TRX, said in a statement.
"The new TRUEXPENSE app helps users easily capture and keep track of expense receipts. They can even submit an expense report before they've returned from their trip – all from their Smartphone. TRX customers can download the new TRUEXPENSE app from Apple's (News - Alert) App store and in the Google Play Marketplace.
Back in June 2012, TRX announced the acquisition of a mobile expense reporting application technology from Nexpense to be incorporated into TRUEXPENSE.
