Senomix Software, Inc. recently announced the introduction of the Desktop Software-as-a-Service (DSaaS) solution for the Senomix Timesheet, a time and expense tracking system. Senomix is one of the premier providers of time and expense tracking software for Mac OS X, Windows, Linux and mixed-environment offices.

By incorporating the capabilities of both desktop software and cloud-based Web apps, Senomix is able to offer stand-alone desktop programs designed to deliver Web app connectivity without the need for browser forms.

Running directly from the user's Mac, Windows, or Linux PC, Senomix Timesheets leverage desktop programs for time entry and project administration installed on an employee's computers via a simple Web page link.

The solution provides automatic connectively to the entire staff with the central cloud-based internet server, irrespective of their location within the building or even if they are working from remote locations across the globe.

Senomix Timesheets also uses Microsoft (News - Alert) Excel to enable the creation of reports by managers all within the comfort of their spreadsheet workspace. The tool effectively marries the critical connectivity capability of a Web application with the vital capabilities of traditional desktop software with respect to speed and responsiveness.

The combination of these capabilities makes the Senomix Timesheet solution an ideal packaged solution supporting an office’s time and expense management.

The new DSaaS solution from Senomix can be deployed as a standalone time and expense tracking system, or alternatively as a front-end system supporting an office’s QuickBooks or database billing and payroll package offering.

Senomix Timesheets, now available via the new hosted service, retails at $9.50 per-user per-month. Alternatively, the solution can be installed within the user's own office network as a standalone system with a one-time server licensing charge.
