WidePoint Subsidiary iSYS Secures New Contract



iSYS, a wholly owned subsidiary of WidePoint Corporation will be offering telecommunications audit services to the state of Nevada, the company has announced.

iSYS has been providing Telecom Expense Management (TEM) services to government clients for many years, including the U.S. Federal Government, and the company claims to have saved more than $120 million for its clients through its services. For the state of Nevada, the company will be offering telecommunications audit services, the company stated in a press release.

"We are honored by this new award and look forward to delivering world class performance with our proprietary solutions to the State of Nevada. It is our goal to be the leading 'go-to' communications management provider for state and local municipalities. This new award also further supports our long-term strategy.”

For state and local government entities, iSYS claims to have a total contracted backlog of more than $15 million, the company has stated. The period of performance for this contract is from February 14, 2012 through January 31, 2016. It has also been stipulated that the company value of contract will not go over $10 million in the four year period.

Recently, the company announced that James McCubbin, EVP and CFO of the company, would present at AGC's 8th Annual Information Security Conference at The Westin San Francisco Market Street in San Francisco, California, on Monday, February 27th at 12:20 pm Pacific Time in the Olympic Room.
