GXS, a provider of B2B integration services, asserted that its cloud-based Tokenization Service has been integrated into the Infor10 Expense Management SaaS (News - Alert) solution so that Infor will be able to bring down cost and safeguard its brand.

According to Infor, its Expense Management automates all employee-based financial processes in a single, consolidated solution, and offers high quality reporting and auditing. The solution allows even complex, multinational organizations to automate expense-related business processes and enforce policy compliance, reducing associated administrative costs and decreasing the opportunity for accidental error and intentional fraud.

The integration with GXS’s service now allows the GXS Tokenization Services to accept transactions from credit card issuers and replaces information such as the card number and expiration date with a secure “token” (a random string of characters) before sending the data to Infor.

Infor asserted that it was in need of means to deliver secure, reliable service and ensure its brand’s reputation in the market. With the integration GXS’s Tokenization service it can now offer PCI (News - Alert)-compliant service while reducing the need for complex changes to their internal systems and minimizing the scope of PCI compliance audits.

Officials with GXS ascertained that the Infor partnership is another great proof-point for cloud-to-cloud integration. They are excited to be able to partner with Infor to safely protect consumer data. As part of the partnership, Infor would join the GXS GridConnect program, which enables software vendors and cloud service providers to embed the GXS Trading Grid into their offerings, pre-connecting to 400,000 trading partners.
