Cloud Cruiser Launches New Cloud Cost Management Solution

Cloud Cruiser, a cloud cost management solutions provider, recently announced that its cloud cost management solution for private, hybrid and public cloud computing infrastructures is now available. The company also announced that it has entered into a partnership agreement with Nimbula and Gale Technologies (News - Alert).

Cloud Cruiser will demonstrate its cloud cost management solution at VMWorld 2011 this week at the Venetian and The Wynn in Las Vegas.

"Nimbula Director and Cloud Cruiser make a powerful combination for offering geographically scalable, secure and automated cost optimized cloud solutions," said Willem van Biljon, co-founder and vice presidnet of products at Nimbula, in a statement. "Partnering with Cloud Cruiser enables us to now offer customers a way for enterprises and service providers to manage cost across powerful private, hybrid and public cloud infrastructures."

The new solution from Cloud Cruiser offers ongoing workflow tools that provide management and accounting capabilities for optimizing CAPEX and OPEX (News - Alert) costs in heterogeneous cloud computing environments. The solution is ideal for both cloud providers and enterprises.

"The GaleForce Platform allows users to cost effectively reserve and schedule resources, and execute workloads on a shared, heterogeneous environment," stated Nariman Teymourian, president and CEO of Gale Technologies. "With Cloud Cruiser those users can now optimize these resources with next generation chargeback capabilities in order to increase visibility into resource utilization and proactively manage, control and reduce their cloud computing costs."

"One of the core reasons for companies to migrate to the cloud is lower computing costs. Nimbula and Gale Technologies can now add Cloud Cruiser's cost management solution to their enterprise cloud offerings," noted Dave Zabrowski, founder & CEO of Cloud Cruiser. "This gives enterprises and cloud providers the confidence to manage their private, hybrid and public clouds, maximize cost savings and financially justify the decision to move significant workloads to the cloud."
