Under the terms of the agreement, both companies will collaborate over providing their US-based clients with comprehensive Corporate Performance Management (CPM) support services. In a statement, Mark Corsetti, VP and GM of Tagetik North America, said that, "There are so many companies who are unhappy with their current CPM solutions or would like to replace a spreadsheet-based system. With BlumShapiro we can now help customers fix these common issues, and then go beyond that by using BlumShapiro's Microsoft (News - Alert) expertise to help companies extend their ERP or SharePoint applications with CPM functionality or a cloud-based solution."

BlumShapiro and Tagetik will work together to address the CPM needs of an organization by providing them with best-in-class technology solutions. BlumShapiro will use its Microsoft partnership to deliver consulting services support in Business Intelligence, Microsoft SharePoint, Master Data Management, and cloud-based technologies.

Brian Renstrom, Consulting Partner with BlumShapiro said that, "The alliance between Tagetik and BlumShapiro is quite seamless because we do a great deal of consulting work in the ERP world and have expertise in streamlining processes in the office of finance. With Tagetik software we now have a toolset we can offer as a solution to complement the process consulting recommendations-which of course is a big advantage in today's marketplace, so there are many opportunities to help companies improve their performance management."

Government clients of the company include municipalities, quasi-government entities, and state government departments.
