Fiserv Experienced Record Growth in its ECM Solutions Sales

Fiserv, Inc., a global technology provider for the financial services sector, has reported strong year-over-year growth and new customer wins in the area of Enterprise Content Management.

According to a press release, Fiserv acquired 190 new ECM clients during 2011. 1,000 new customers have signed up for Fiserv’s ECM over the last five years. More than 3,100 clients are currently using Fiserv’s Director or Nautilus enterprise content management solutions.

Fiserv's ECM Solutions help the financial services organizations to streamline how data is shared and accessed across every business line enterprise-wide for improved cross-selling and superior service. By automating business processes and decisions in applications such as loan origination, dispute resolution, and account servicing, the Fiserv solutions help the companies go paperless in their day to day operations. By going paperless, the companies get the ability to do more with less, and can also meet revenue-generating goals more easily.

All these will lead to improved employers’ productivity, expanded customer service levels and offerings, and increased self-service capabilities for the customers. These ultimately result into cost-saving for the organizations, Fiserv claimed in a statement.

Fiserv solutions serve a wide variety of organizations, from small community banks and credit unions to the largest financial institutions in the world. Solutions include advanced document imaging, workflow, reporting and risk mitigation tools and all are available as either in-house solutions or outsourced services.

“Fiserv has seen adoption rates of up to 85 percent for client segments using our basic document image capture and storage solutions. Now we are seeing clients move far beyond the traditional image storage systems into enhanced workflow, publishing and specialized applications like accounts payable, document tracking and report delivery. We are excited by the potential to show our clients a very quick payback on investments and help them move toward a paperless organization. Exciting new ECM solutions, like iPad integration, will further strengthen our offerings in 2012 and beyond,” Teri Carstensen, division president of Bank Solutions at Fiserv explained in a statement.

In other news Fiserv recently announced that Badan Sertifikasi Manajemen Risiko (BSMR) has again selected Fiserv as its partner to develop and present a series of educational financial risk management workshops in Indonesia throughout 2012.
