DATUM, a provider of business strategy for enterprise information management (EIM), announced the launch of version 2.0 of the Information Value Management platform.
The current Information Value Management platform is already in use with customers across consumer products, oil and gas, life sciences, medical devices, manufacturing and utilities industries. It focuses on modeling and measuring EIM business strategy.
The Version 2.0 will give thrust on accelerating and operationalizing EIM engagements, company officials said. Version 2.0 includes out-of-the-box process and content for information governance, business information migrations and information innovation.
A DATUM press release said Version 2.0 platform expands on proven processes to deploy collaboration between the existing knowledge base, deliverables library and initiative management. It delivers a seamless value management structure and accelerated knowledge management foundation for EIM delivery success.
Customers can deploy a scalable plug-n-play program for EIM services leveraging both internal and external knowledge to deliver a cost-effective, standards-based deployment of EIM solutions from vendors such as SAP (News - Alert), the company said.
“This makes information governance tangible for business teams to pursue and clarifies the direct link between information governance and business process improvement,” said David Woods, principal partner, EIM Strategy for DATUM LLC, in a statement.
DATUM is widely recognized by software vendors, analysts and systems integrators as the expert perspective in developing and delivering successful data management solutions for clients.
Large enterprises with global requirements have made the DATUM methodology an integral part of their value realization programs for EIM. DATUM is the critical success factor for companies who wish to stop building each project from scratch and start treating data as a process.
