Bitrix Inc. a provider of business communications solutions announced the release of Bitrix Intranet 10.0. The business communications platform helps connect SMBs with their customers via Internet, partners via extranet and employees via Intranet.
According to Bitrix sources, the new enhanced product is capable of uniting the energies of each employee to augment the efficiency considerably. Bitrix Version 10.0 features advanced task and time management, a CRM system, live feed ticker, microblogs, integration with Microsoft (News - Alert), Google and Apple products, mobile apps and multi department intranet support.
The advanced technologies and tools now featured by Bitrix Intranet 10.0 are task management 2.0 which has enhanced tools for tasks and projects which provide efficiency reports for each employee, department, and the full company also, said officials in a release.
Time management 2.0 has features that handle clock in/out, total work time, breaks, absences, cross-platform calendaring, meeting and event planning. The CRM or Customer Relationship Management also manages leads, accounts, and other relationships. The Live Feed feature offers unified feed for updates from all sections of the intranet, passing on information on new developments to everybody.
The other features encompass an internal feature Microblog which informs colleagues about news, ideas, or facts instantly. The document management is a new interface featuring version saving, recycle bin, more network drive options, and detail pages for each document.
Company sources added that the department intranets consists of individual departments which can now have separate, customized, and integrated versions of the intranet. The mobile apps featuring BitrixMobile technology facilitates working with the intranet via mobile devices and also helps in the development of customized apps.
The new version allows integration with Microsoft products providing connectors to MS Exchange Server 2007/2010 and MS SharePoint besides integration with MS Exchange Web Mail enabling improved integration with Active Directory and with MS Office.
Bitrix Intranet 10.0 allows integration with Google products like Google calendars which can be shared and synchronized in the intranet with access and modification via Android (News - Alert) devices.
The integration with Apple products enables calendar sharing with Mac OS X, iPad, and iPhone including two-way data sharing and exporting of contacts from the intranet.
The Web Cluster feature offers a portal that can be distributed among multiple servers for improving performance, scalability, and reliability. The new edition BizPace Enterprise is suitable for organizations with a distributed network of offices and branches, emphasized officials.
