Sieena Unveils New Version of Employee Self-Service Portal

Sieena, a software development and IT outsourcing firm specializing in Microsoft (News - Alert) technologies, announced its 365Kin, a new version of its employee information system designed to increase employee productivity and keep HR departments focused on their most important tasks.

The software-as-a-service (SaaS (News - Alert)) system includes new modules for vacation and holiday tracking. Capable of offering personal data administration, the 365Kin helps HR staff as well as direct supervisors to approve changes.

A Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, Sieena will showcase 365Kin during the 2011 HR Star Conference.

Sieena's HR SharePoint portal enables users to update a central calendar that will always document absences -- allowing 365Kin's users to preserve data integrity, and maintain quality control, company officials said.

“365Kin empowers companies to reduce HR costs and errors, boost workforce productivity, morale and improve internal service at all levels of any organization,” said Mauricio Duran, president, Sieena, in a statement.

“The HR Star Conference offers us an opportunity to show off 365Kin directly to our stakeholders. 365Kin will add a new layer of efficiency to our HR customers' internal processes, while empowering employees to get the vacation or leave tracking information they need immediately,” Duran added.

The new version of 365Kin is a Web-based automated vacation tracking system that allows employees to access and update the most frequently requested vacation data themselves 24/7, 365 days a year from any computer without having to go through HR.

Recently, Sieena announced  it was selected to help promote the new Windows Phone (News - Alert) 7 in Mexico. Microsoft asked Sieena to spread the word and illustrate how the Windows Phone 7 can help businesses capitalize on the large and growing mobile market
