TeamQuest Corporation, a major player in IT service optimization software, has entered into a partner alliance agreement with Wipro Technologies (News - Alert), to offer integrated performance engineering services in the area of performance management and capacity planning services for customers.
Wipro Technologies, a testing services provider, is a global consulting, system integration and outsourcing business of Wipro Limited. The company provides comprehensive research and development services, IT solutions and services, including systems integration, information systems outsourcing, package implementation, software application management and datacenter managed services to corporations globally.
"TeamQuest Performance Software easily embeds into Wipro's testing service offerings for the marketplace," said director of Business Development, Edsar Calaguas, in a press release. "Wipro has excellent technical skills and a mature performance management practice which complements the value we provide to our customers."

"TeamQuest Capacity Planning software will help add niche capabilities to Wipro's existing Performance Engineering offerings, which is a key offering in Wipro's Specialized Testing service lines, and this can be extended to the large existing customer base of Wipro."
In related news, TeamQuest Performance Software Release 10.3 builds on its earlier capabilities for performance management of VMware vSphere by adding the ability to automatically discover and analyze VMware clusters, hosts and virtual machines.
