E-Application Adoption Glows and Grows with Insurance Technologies' FireLight 2.1

According to Steven Leigh, principal analyst at Gartner (News - Alert), the life insurance industry has struggled with e-app adoption over the past 20 years and has finally come to terms with it, as most of the barriers to adoption have been gradually overcome.

With e-app adoption slowly gaining recognition, Insurance Technologies LLC, a provider of innovative sales and regulatory automation solutions to the insurance and financial services industries, is stated to have announced the release of FireLight 2.1 with mobile and e-signature capabilities that have been certified by IRI.

"Financial advisors are increasingly relying on tablet devices to conduct business, and the ability to use e-signatures on any device, at no extra cost, is new to the industry and a huge asset for our customers," said Jim Ferrell, vice president, FireLight product management at Insurance Technologies.

This low cost, flexible and easy-to-deploy device-agnostic business fulfillment solution, which automates any existing sales process across all lines of business, has been developed with Microsoft (News - Alert) .NET 4.0 and HTML 5 technology.

This business fulfillment platform provides the same end user experience across all devices, and is reportedly the only multidevice, multiline platform that delivers a customized, on-the-go user experience that helps pave the way for the adoption of mobile e-app business fulfillment.

With a familiar user interface, the Web application has a powerful rules engine that guides agents through a simplified and seamless application and business process workflow.

In addition, by being able to manage all lines of business for new and post-issue transactions on one platform across multiple distribution channels – as well as system integration support within an intuitive interface – both carriers and agents experience greater flexibility, greater processing efficiency and accelerated adoption.

Given the current growth of e-app for life new business, Leigh expects adoption to increase rapidly over the next five years.

Insurance Technologies LLC, a provider of innovative sales and regulatory automation solutions for the insurance and financial services industries, announced that Microsoft has recognized the company with Gold Web Development competency and a Gold Independent Software Vendor competency.
