MicroEdge Intros New Version of Web-based Donor Development Solution

MicroEdge has announced the availability of FIMS CRM 2.0, a Web-based donor development solution.

The company said that the new offering will help fundraising organizations streamline and maximize their development efforts via better visibility into donor and fund information, and improved constituent profiling and reporting.

In addition, the updated version also improves efficiency with the ability to track and manage all development staff activity within a single system. Company officials said that the enhanced integration with FIMS ensures that development staff have access to comprehensive information on donors and prospects in FIMS CRM.

“FIMS CRM helps our clients cultivate better, closer relationships with current and prospective donors so they can expand their reach and impact,” said Rohit Vashisht, senior product manager at FIMS.

The company’s clients want to grow their asset base by increasing the efficiency of their existing development staff and FIMS CRM greatly helps in achieving this goal, Vashisht said, adding that FIMS CRM 2.0 furthers this agenda by providing comprehensive information on donors and intuitive reporting to development staff.

With FIMS CRM, community foundations and other fundraising organizations can grow assets and increase their donor base. Also, development staff benefit from streamlined tracking and management of development activity, campaigns and events.

Additionally, FIMS CRM provides foundation executives better insight with a big picture view of the development pipeline. Company officials said that this drives more targeted development activities to achieve foundation goals.

FIMS CRM is fully integrated with FIMS, an information management system. Company officials said that it’s an online, hosted and configurable solution, enabling foundations to establish their development processes based on the best practices that are successful for their organization.

Moreover, it gives development staff anytime, anywhere access to information on donors, grantees and funds. Company officials said that Version 2.0 takes this a step further and improves visibility with the ability to see promise, pledge and grant history within the system, along with a wealth of additional data.

Earlier in July, MicroEdge released a major update to its online grant applications and reporting solution.
