Wireless Glue Networks and OSIsoft Partnering to Monetize the Internet of Things for the C&I Market

DANVILLE, Calif., Oct. 8, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Wireless Glue Networks, Inc., a global Internet of Things (IoT) platform leader, and OSIsoft, a developer of application software for real-time data infrastructure solutions, including the PI System, announced today they have entered into a strategic partnership to better enable the commercial and industrial (C&I) market to monetize the benefits of real-time connectivity to sensors and systems – e.g., predictive and preventive maintenance, energy management, and building/factory automation.

The OSIsoft-Wireless Glue Networks partnership will focus on extracting data from end devices in real-time and feeding that data into the PI system for analysis, predictive maintenance, and other solutions. The data flow between OSIsoft's PI system and Wireless Glue's SmartEdge Solution software, which will exist on-premise, will be bi-directional and allow for both real-time monitoring and control of the devices.
