Alyaf selects IFS Applications 9 to support growth plans

IFS (http://www.ifsworld.com/), the global enterprise applications company, announces that Saudi Arabia's leading and largest Geotextiles & Geocomposites manufacturer for 23 years, Alyaf Industrial Company has chosen IFS Applications™ (http://media.ne.cision.com/l/ckvynufq/www.ifsworld.com/en/solutions/ifs-applications/ifs-applications-9/) to replace its current system in order to provide enhanced functionality and better support for the company's expansion plans.

IFS Applications will manage Alyaf's complete manufacturing and supply chain requirements with the ability to support both configure and make-to-order production. Additionally, IFS Applications will also support other operational functions within Alyaf including: HR, finance, payroll, procurement, inventory planning and replenishment, preventative maintenance and work order to maintain the company's equipment. In addition, it will help prepare the controlled documentation of all processes.

Alyaf will also leverage the IFS Manufacturing Visualizer-an out-of-the-box configurable solution that provides up-to-date information about production statuses from a resource and material perspective.

With two production sites under one company, multiple warehouses and sales centers located across the Middle East, Alyaf required a solution that will support the company's ongoing expansion projects to meet increased demand for its product mix. The deployment of IFS Applications is expected to go live in the first quarter of 2016.

"IFS was clearly favorable against its competitors," says Nader Nafady, President and CEO of ALYAF. "With an integrated, single-instance ERP solution, complete with HR and payroll, IFS Applications 9 will help us manage the business more effectively and better support our complex manufacturing requirements. Coupled with a loca team and exemplary local customer references, we look forward to a long and rewarding partnership with IFS to support our continued growth."

"Alyaf's investment in IFS Applications will help to optimize the company's operations whilst supporting their ongoing expansion," says IFS Middle East, South Asia & Africa managing director, Ian Fleming. "We look forward to partnering with Alyaf to enable it to become more efficient and agile as the company realizes its growth plans."
