Ayla Networks Speaking and Exhibiting at IoT Evolution in Las Vegas
Ayla Networks, whose agile Internet of Things (IoT) platform provides
comprehensive connectivity for any kind of product, will showcase its
IoT platform and customer products at the IoT
Evolution Conference & Expo, to be held August 17-20, 2015, in
Las Vegas. In addition, Ayla will participate in two panels covering the
IoT, highlighting how Ayla's Agile (News - Alert) IoT platform eliminates the hurdles
involved in building great connected devices and bringing them to market.
Rod McLane, Ayla's senior director of product marketing, will be
speaking on two panels at the IoT Evolution Conference. He noted:
"Consumers no longer want simple standalone products and devices. They
want to connect them all and have them be smart. Traditional
manufacturers need an IoT solution that can enable them to quickly and
securely create connections and relationships among objects in the
physical and virtual worlds that have never existed before."
Panel Session #1 Title: "Convergence (News - Alert) - The Connected
Home in a Connected World" [CH-02] http://www.iotevolutionexpo.com/west/agenda.aspx What:
There is a lot of promise from the connected home and other connected
applications that make up the Internet of Things. But to truly deliver
on that promise, our connected cars, homes, offices, etc. will all need
to speak to each other. Take a look at early crossover applications and
how they work together to deliver enhanced value as a unit. When:

Panel Session #2 Title: "Out in the Field - Where the
Data is Real-Time" [CH-11] http://www.iotevolutionexpo.com/west/agenda.aspx
What:
Agriculture, mining, oil and gas, and smart grids sound like totally
different businesses, but in truth they have one aspect of IoT in
common. The need for remote data collection and real-time actionable
field information makes them look for innovative ways to connect,
collect and communicate. This session explores the architectures based
on a particular industry's requirements and how different industries can
learn from each other and share field services solutions and techniques. When:
Thursday, August 20th 11:00 a.m. Who: Ayla panelist is Rod
McLane, Senior Director of Product Marketing
Ayla Booth Activities What: Ayla will show elements
of its IoT platform-which includes embedded device agents, cloud agents
