Procera Networks Elevates Subscriber Experience at Light Reading's 2015 Big Telecom Event

FREMONT, Calif., June 2, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Procera Networks, Inc. On Wednesday, June 10 at 2:00 p.m. CDT, Vice President of Global Marketing Cam Cullen will speak in a panel session titled, "Improving Customer Experience: The Critical Role of Service Management in a Virtualized World." Moderated by Michael Howard, Senior Research Director at Infonetics/IHS Technology, the panel will discuss how operators' service management strategies need to evolve in order to address this market reality.

The panel will explore how Network Functions Virtualization (NFV) and Software Defined Networking (SDN) are forcing the convergence of network and data centers into a single resource pool where elasticity, which was previously equated to data center environments, is now migrating to the networking space. Closed looped alignment between previously siloed functions such as service fulfillment and service assurance will become critical components of operators' next generation OSS strategies.

Procera is also shortlisted in the "Best New Product (Mobile)" category of Light Reading's Leading Lights awards for RAN Perspectives, an innovative and lightweight SIM-based location intelligence solution that enables mobile operators to gain insight and take action to improve the subscriber experience. On demonstration at Procera's stand (#104) during the event will be the Insights family of solutions, which provide granular subscriber analytics through an easily consumable dashboard depending on your role within the organization—for example, customer service, engineering, or marketing departments can gain access to the real-time analytics they need to troubleshoot service issues, enhance network performance, and create innovative new product offerings.

Procera recently unveiled the results of a highly anticipated survey on the Mbile Subscriber Experience, comprising over 500 respondents from 62 different countries. The results reveal the most common pain points for mobile subscribers' coverage problems, as well as their tendencies to notify—or not notify—customer service to share feedback on their experiences. Procera's granular analytics technology helps broadband operators see more detail about how subscribers perceive their network experience, enabling operators to do more to improve or enhance the outcome. Full results and a complementary infographic can be found on the Procera blog.
