OpenGov Appoints Former NetSuite Vice President Mini Peiris as Chief Marketing Officer


REDWOOD CITY, Calif., March 26, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- OpenGov, the market leader in cloud-based financial transparency for state and local governments, today announced it has appointed SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) industry-veteran Mini Peiris to lead marketing for the fast-growing company. As Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) she is a key addition to the company's executive leadership team and will help bring OpenGov technology to governments across the country. She was most recently Vice President of Global Marketing at NetSuite Inc.

OpenGov is the market leader in cloud-based financial transparency for state and local governments.

Peiris has over 18 years of marketing and product leadership experience with expertise in SaaS business models. At NetSuite, Peiris served in a series of leadership roles spanning NetSuite's IPO in December 2007 to worldwide revenue growth of $500M+, culminating in the position of Vice President of Global Marketing. Prior to NetSuite Inc., Peiris served in various senior product management roles at Interact Commerce Corp. where she managed both the ACT! and SalesLogix product lines. She holds a B.S. in Cellular Molecular Biology from the University of Michigan.
