AGS Names Kimo Akiona Chief Financial Officer


AGS® (the "Company"), a proven gaming machine supplier for Class II markets with an emerging presence in Class III markets and live table games, today announced the appointment of Kimo Akiona to the position of Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer.

Mr. Akiona brings over 15 years of accounting and financial management experience and extensive gaming industry knowledge to his new role. He most recently served as Senior Vice President and Corporate Controller and Director of SEC Reporting at Bally Technologies (News - Alert)/SHFL entertainment, where he spent nearly 10 years in various positions. While at SHFL, Mr. Akiona managed the global accounting function, which included teams in the U.S., Asia-Pacific, Europe and Latin America. He and his team implemented ERP systems in the U.S. and international jurisdictions, led the financial due diligence on merger and acquisition activity and were responsible for all SEC (News - Alert) matters.
