CAIL Mobile Solutions to Discuss the Impact of Mobile Apps in Healthcare at the Mobile Healthcare Summit

CAIL Mobile Solutions, an innovative leader in mobility services and solutions, announced today that Vice President of Products, Shayan Mashatian, will participate in an industry workshop on "Preparing for the IoT Age with Apps and Intelligent Devices to improve Healthcare" set to take place during the 11th Annual Mobile Healthcare Summit on January 26th from 1-4 pm in Toronto, Canada.

During this interactive workshop, Mashatian will discuss the substantial impact of the Internet-of-Things on the healthcare sector, such as radically improving quality of care while reducing costs in the long term by eliminating the need for costly labor. Workshop attendees will learn what they can do to harness the power of IoT through mobile apps and devices that will help transform patient care and revolutionize how healthcare professionals communicate and access patient health dat.

"Over the past year we have seen major growth in the mHealth sector, especially among wearables and other health and wellness devices, but we expect to see more and more opportunities to tap into this growing market, especially for mobile app and healthcare technology companies," said Shayan Mashatian. "We are excited to be participating in this year's Mobile Healthcare Summit and look forward to discussing the potential impact of mobile apps on the healthcare space."

CAIL Mobile recently launched its wFit Solution, a cloud-based platform capable of uploading health and fitness related data from any Bluetooth-enabled mobile devices. This data can be retrieved from multiple devices simultaneously and compiled into various reports that provide a comparison and analysis for a better understanding of a user's overall health and physical activity. For example, through wFit an app can demonstrate how similarities in weight gain or loss compare to daily calorie intake and physical activity and how these parameters might affect blood pressure results. wFit also allows users to switch between multiple devices at the click of a button at any time. Finally, wFit includes a Health Dashboard that allows users to monitor data while receiving feedback and suggestions on how to improve physical and health activities and modify the known risk factors.

wFit can enhance corporate wellness programs, enabling employees to easily monitor and manage their health and wellness via their mobile device. wFit also enables home care monitoring by patients discharged from a clinic or hospital looking to track their health activity and share information with healthcare providers.

The Mobile Healthcare Summit will take place on January 27-28 at the Eaton (News - Alert) Chelsea in Toronto, Canada. If you are interested in meeting with a CAIL executive during the Summit, please contact us at [email protected].
