Yext Accelerates European Expansion with First International Acquisition
Yext, the world's #1 presence management company, today announced that
it has acquired InnerBalloons, a leading European presence management
company. This acquisition anchors Yext's European footprint following
the company's international expansion of its product offering in
November with the launch of PowerListings Global.
Netherlands-based InnerBalloons provides presence management for 15,000
Dutch businesses, and the team's extensive experience and deep market
knowledge will help Yext bring its patented software to European
businesses.
"Digital presence is a basic need for all 50 million business locations
in the world" said Howard Lerman, Yext Co-Founder & CEO. "This
acquisition accelerates our progress toward bringing our software to all
the business locations across the globe and further ceents our status
as the #1 in presence management."
InnerBalloons founder, Robin Allenson, will serve as Yext's SVP of
European Partnerships and will continue to expand the team in Holland,
which will become the base of Yext's European operations.
"The entire InnerBalloons team is excited to join Yext in its mission of
perfect location information on every device in every hand," said
Allenson. "And we look forward to building on Yext's significant
investment in the European market."
The announcement comes just weeks after Yext launched PowerListings
Global, the world's first global listings network. Yext will continue to
build its exclusive network of global publishing partners along with
native country networks in the UK, Germany and Turkey and partnerships
to bring Yext products to all European businesses.
