Clear2there Sees Dramatic Channel Growth in First Half of 2014

Five Statewide and Regional Network Providers and over 170 Independent Telecommunications Service Providers Now Offer Clear2there’s Smart-Premise Services Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, September 22, 2014 — Clear2there LLC, a leading provider of advanced video surveillance, smart-home, smart-business, smart-farm, and smart-healthcare applications, and M2M solutions for service providers and enterprises, announced that it is now working with more than 170 independent telecommunications service providers to sell smart-premise services utilizing its Viewbiquity Cloud Application Suite (VCAS). This figure is nearly two-and-one-half times more than the company reported in January 2014, and comprises almost 25% of the independent telephone companies in the United States.

In addition to the contracts it has reached with individual providers, Clear2there has also reached agreements with statewide and regional fiber network operators serving Iowa, Wisconsin, Kansas, Wyoming, Montana, and South Dakota. According to Craig Steen, president and chief executive officer for Clear2there, these networks are owned by groups of independent providers within their respective states, and are responsible for supplying broadband network backbones and shared resources that enable the rapid provisioning of next generation services.

“We are seeing strong interest from local providers in delivering smart-premise services, and through the statewide networks, these operators now have the ability to offer these solutions without incurring any capital costs,” noted Steen. “Our experience with local providers is that they are very eager to provide cutting edge technology services, but many have limited resources to invest in this technology. Clear2there has a unique business model that enables local providers to deliver new and in-demand technology, while maintaining the ability to customize and brand the services according to the individual operator’s needs, which is an attractive alternative to most reseller programs.” Clear2there also noted that nearly every company has identified unique customer needs to address within its specific service areas. Among the most popular services are smart-farm solutions, vacation home monitoring, homestead monitoring for residents that move to warmer locations for the winter, aging-in-place monitoring, smart-business integration, and smart-home solutions. Among its efforts to support these local service providers in packaging and selling smart-premise services, Clear2there has developed an extensive marketing support program that incorporates training, templates, customizable print, audio, and video promotional materials, and retail bundle packaging.

“We are excited to see the growth in this sector, and are committed to continuing our efforts to deliver the products and support that will help independent telecommunications providers offer new services that their customers want and need,” concluded Steen.
