Exelis to highlight expansion in global aviation industry at ATC Global 2014

XLS) will highlight its expanding presence in the global
aviation marketplace at ATC
Global 2014 in Beijing, China, Sept. 17-19, 2014.

Appointed regional aviation business leads: Exelis has
appointed two, new regional aviation business directors for Asia
Pacific and Europe, Middle East, and Africa. Axel Bensch joins Exelis
bringing more than 25 years of Asia Pacific sales experience in senior
roles with Thales Group, ERA a.s., Sabre (News - Alert) Holdings Corp., and Lufthansa
Systems AG. Arie Herweijer joins Exelis with 30 years of aviation
industry expertise in Europe, Middle East, and Africa and comes to
Exelis following senior positions at Airbus Group, Metron Aviation,
and HITT. Mr. Bensch and Mr. Herweijer join Fabrice Janssen and Holmes
Liao on the Exelis Asia Pacific aviation sales team.

Acquired leading airport operations company, Barco Orthogon: Exelis
recently acquired Orthogon,
based in Bremen, Germany, from Barco NV. Orthogon provides
applications for air traffic flow management and decision-making to
airport operators and ANSPs globally. From widely-used queue
management and traffic optimization applications to enabling more
efficient aircraft flows into and out of airports, Orthogon's
applications allow airport operators and airspace users to better
utilize their resources. The acquisition of Orthogon expands the
Exelis portfolio of aviation solutions and augments its offerings in
the international market. Orthogon's products and solutions are
used by customers to manage operations at some of the world's busiest
airports including those in Doha, Qatar; Hong Kong; Istabul; London;
and Singapore.

Established APAC HQ in Melbourne: Earlier this year, Exelis
established its Asia Pacific regional headquarters in Melbourne,
Australia. The new facility expands research and development, testing,
and systems integration capabilities for Exelis customers in the
region. Exelis will support business pursuits globally with system
deployments in more than 30 countries from its Asia Pacific
headquarters.

currently operating the ground infrastructure for the Automatic
Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) network for the U.S.
