IFG Companies Announces That Andrew M. Shrout Joins as Managing Director - Bind
CHICAGO --(Business Wire)--
IFG Companies has announced that Andrew M. Shrout has joined as Managing
Director -- Bind. In this capacity, Andrew, who will be based in Chicago
and Atlanta, will be a member of the Bind Leadership Team that
establishes and implements the new strategy of IFG's contract bind
insurance business.

Andrew joins IFG after a year with Tower Group International, where he
served as Managing Vice President of Marketing Strategy and Analytics.
Previously, Andrew was the Vice President for Stratgy and Finance in
the Home Appliance Division at Sears Holdings Corporation, where he
applied predictive analytics to target high potential customers. Prior
thereto, Andrew held operational roles focused on improving process
flows and implementing a new policy administration system at Fireman's
Fund Insurance Company. Before that, Andrew served as a Strategy
Director at Allstate Insurance Company, where, among other
responsibilities, he led a market entry strategy and an agency
segmentation initiative to identify and cultivate high performing
agencies. Andrew has also worked at The Hartford Financial Services
Group as a Director of Property and Casualty Strategic Initiatives and
as a consultant at Reagan Consulting, Inc., where he advised on a number
of merger and acquisition engagements.
Andrew holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance from Georgetown
College and a Master of Business Administration degree from the
University of Colorado. Andrew has also earned the Chartered Property
and Casualty Underwriter designation.
