Futures market survey: 40 pct bullish about Shanghai copper on Wed.
BEIJING, Feb 26, 2013 (Xinhua via COMTEX) --
About 40 percent futures experts
surveyed by the China Finance Corporation, a financial information
provider run by Xinhua News Agency, are bullish about the copper
futures traded on the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) on Wednesday,
while 40 percent expect range-bound trading and the rest 20 percent
are negative about the commodity.
The SHFE benchmark copper contract, for May delivery, opened
200 yuan higher at 57,510 yuan/t on Wednesday morning.
Futures experts here include futures brokers, research
institutions and other market observers.
The futures brokers that are bearish about Shanghai copper
include New Era Futures and Galaxy Futures.
The futures brokers that expect range-bound trading of
Shanghai copper include HNA Futures and Sinosteel Futures.
The futures brokers that are bearish about Shanghai copper
include Shanli Futures.
