WorldPay US Certifies Encore Networks M2M Cellular Routers for ATM Transactions

Encore Networks (News - Alert), a leader in Machine-to-Machine (M2M) solutions for fixed and wireless communications, today announced that WorldPay US, Inc. has certified Encore's line of C2C™ routers for wireless Automatic Teller Machine (ATM) transactions. After product compatibility testing, the C2C™ router was approved for global wireless transactions over the WorldPay processing platform.

The C2C™ is immediately available to WorldPay ATM clients. Encore Networks and its C2C™ line of wireless and wireline routers will be on display at the 2012 WorldPay ATM Distributor Conference. This year's conference is being held September 18 - 20, 2012, in Atlanta, GA.

Available in both industrially hardened and commercial grade models, the C2C™ is a low-cost, embedded, cellular replacement for Plain Old Telephone Services (POTs) lines when migrating Legacy ATMs to advanced IP over cellular. By converting dial-up ATMs to IP-based cellular services, the C2C™ provides existing ATMs with the benefits of a 3G network's increased throughput, reduced costs, reliability and speed.
